The Reality
-
Satan is the prince of the power of the air and has dominion over the earth.
-
We are alive on the same earth and commissioned to represent Christ and share him with others.
-
We have put our faith in Jesus and therefore have entered the battlefield.
-
Christ has already won the war, but we are still commanded to fight.
-
As soldiers for Christ, we have been provided with all we need to stand strong:
-
The Holy Spirit, Who trains us and leads us into battle
-
The Word of God, which is our sword and is meant to be used, not just read
-
Worship, which confounds the enemy, strengthens our spirit, and fixes our eyes on Christ
-
Prayer, which is our communication with God, sending forth his power and defeating the enemy
-
Fasting which gives us singlemindedness toward God, moves our flesh out of the way, emboldens our prayers, and eliminates distractions
-
Fellowship of the saints, which sharpens, inspires, and emboldens us and others
WE ARE chosen and EQUIPPED.
