Colossians 3:12-13
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
I am not puffed up - I seek meekness and humility. All that I do is not for my own gain, but to glorify God. My mind contemplates ways to lift others up and to exalt the name of Jesus. I do not self promote or crave attention. Any attention or praise I receive is used to lift the name of Jesus and point others to Him. I find freedom and peace in thinking of others as more important than myself.

I Peter 5:5-7
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Philippians 2:8
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
