I John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
I am honest about my sinful nature, but confident in Christ’s sacrifice and forgiveness. I am not ignorant of the severity of the gospel. The reality of undeserved grace and the condescension of God towards me generates a holy fear of the Lord. It makes me undone with unexplainable love, gratitude, and repentance before Him.

Colossians 1:13-14

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.
