Romans 13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
My fleshly thoughts are noise to be silenced and nothing more. I do not argue or negotiate with my flesh. I simply put it to death at its first detectable emergence, and tomorrow I will do the same. I have been set free from the old master of sin and launched into a life of freedom and righteousness under no influence but the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Romans 8:13
For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
